A leading veterinary specialist organization in Liverpool is looking for a board-certified or residency-trained oncologist to join its oncology team. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a board-certified or residency- trained oncologist to join our dedicated oncology team at Northwest Veterinary Specialists on a full or part-time permanent contract.
We have a strong and supportive oncology team with three board-certified oncologists and four dedicated oncology nurses. Our purpose-built oncology suite offers a dedicated chemotherapy room and advanced therapies including lymph node mapping electrochemotherapy and superficial radiation. We have a busy and varied caseload and pride ourselves on ensuring that we provide an outstanding service to our patients and clients.
Youll be surrounded by highly experienced specialists in oncology internal medicine soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics neurology dermatology anaesthesia and diagnostic imaging
State-of-the-art facilities including advanced imaging (CT/MRI) fluoroscopy endoscopy and modern surgery suite including minimally invasive surgical equipment.
A strong commitment to clinical excellence collaborative case management and improving patient care and outcomes
Opportunity to develop the service further and advancement of the treatments offered.
Support provided for those sitting board-exams
The hospital is equipped to a very high standard and provides excellent inpatient facilities with qualified RVNs and veterinary interns on-site 24/7.
As an oncology clinician you will manage a wide range of challenging and rewarding cases. Supported by a highly skilled team of nurses anaesthetists imaging and surgery specialists you will be empowered to develop innovative treatment plans and techniques that ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Northwest Veterinary Specialists is a referral only specialist centre within easy commuting distance of historic Chester Liverpool North Wales or Manchester. Major road and train routes and airports are within easy reach as are beautiful national parks and mountains.
