A leading research university in the UK is looking for an experienced Clinical Trial Manager to manage and deliver clinical trials. The role involves supervising a multidisciplinary research team while ensuring the successful completion of trials. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in clinical trial management and a strong track record in project management. This position offers a hybrid working model and generous holiday entitlement.
The unit is seeking to recruit an experienced Clinical Trial Manager to work within our multidisciplinary team to ensure successful delivery of trials. You will work closely with the Chief Investigator, other researchers and clinicians to ensure efficient and successful completion of the trial. The post holder will also be responsible for supervising the activities of other members of the research team.

NCTU is a rapidly growing UK Clinical Research Collaboration registered Clinical Trials Unit (www.ukcrc-ctu.org.uk) based in the School of Medicine at the University of Nottingham. Our mission is to conduct top quality, high impact multicentre clinical trials across a range of health areas which will improve health outcomes. We have a broad and expanding portfolio of trials. In addition, we conduct methodological work to improve the efficiency and quality of trial design, conduct, analysis and reporting. NCTU has close links with NHS Trusts, universities and industry partners.

Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week). However, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours.
This post is offered on a fixed-term contract for 24 months. Job share arrangements may also be considered.
Requests for secondment from internal candidates may be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.
