Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Team Administrator to join the Health and Justice Mental Health team based in HMP Northumberland. This role supports multi‑disciplinary teams, providing holistic care to patients in prison. The position offers flexible working options and a chance for progression within the NHS.

Responsibilities
  • Deal with enquiries to the clinical team, healthcare and prison professionals, taking action where necessary and ensuring messages are communicated accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for other professionals responding in a helpful manner to enquiries or other issues raised.
  • Support diary management and appointment coordination, arrange and minute meetings, and distribute agendas and papers.
  • Create and maintain case note files that are up to date and available for patient appointments/admissions, liaising with other departments and sites.
  • Undertake general office duties as required, including ordering supplies, filing, photocopying, etc.
Salary & Benefits

Starting salary of £24,625 per annum, a generous NHS pension scheme, an initial 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays. A £3,000 Trust welcome bonus will be applied to this post – £1,500 upon joining the Trust, £750 after year 1 and £750 after year 2 (applicable only to external candidates).

We offer sponsorship for a Health and Care Worker or Skilled Worker visa, subject to candidate and position eligibility.
