A leading university hospital in the UK is seeking a Clinical Teaching Fellow In Child Health to support medical students and deliver high-quality teaching in clinical settings. The role includes undergraduate teaching, ward support, and involvement in projects and research related to medical education. Applicants must possess an MBBS or equivalent, GMC registration, and experience in paediatrics, with opportunities for personal development and further education. This role is based in Nottingham, offering a collaborative environment for teaching fellows.

The post offers teaching opportunities, the chance to build your CV for a training number or future posts, the chance to undertake a PGcert/PGDip in medical education, and to present at local, regional, national conferences and research innovative ideas in medical education. The Department fully supports all Clinical Teaching Fellows in developing the course and UMED also has its own annual Undergraduate Medical Education Conference, where best and innovative practice can be shared.
You will be based on the QMC campus and will have office space, desk and PC. You will be working alongside other Clinical Teaching Fellows both in your own and in other specialties and will be able to work together on projects and share good practice.
All courses have administrative support.
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, both AM and PM shifts. Typical duties include undergraduate teaching, child health ward support/teaching and assessments, and teaching support/projects.
