A leading healthcare provider in Walsall is seeking compassionate Clinical Support Workers to assist in providing exceptional care for elderly patients. The role demands a commitment to enhance the quality of life for residents, support their daily activities, and maintain a collaborative environment with nursing staff. Suitable candidates will have completed Level II HCA training or be willing to undertake it, along with excellent communication skills. Flexible part-time and full-time shifts are available, providing opportunities to contribute positively to patient care.
We have several CSW vacancy on ward 2 and an exciting plan to become a dementia unit which will open the opportunity and offer the privilege to care for the dementia patients ,be their voice and provide the best care they deserve.
Ward 2 is a 34 bedded elderly care ward, we pride ourselves on compassionate and person centred care. We also work to make relatives and visitors feel comfortable on the ward and all work together as partners in care for the patient.
We welcome applications from experienced clinical support workers (from NHS and private sector) and also welcome applications from people who live the trust values of Respect Compassion Teamwork and Professionalism.
Part-time and Full-time hours are available, applicants must be willing to work over the twenty-four hour day and have a mixture of shifts (days/nights/weekends).

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is an integrated Trust and the only provider of NHS acute care in Walsall, serving a population of 284,300. It provides inpatient and outpatient services at the Manor Hospital as well as a wide range of services in the community. Walsall Manor houses the full of district general hospital services under one roof. The £170 million development was completed in 2010, and ongoing upgrades ensure the Trust now has state-of-the-art facilities, including a Critical Care Unit, Neonatal Unit, Obstetric Theatre, and Integrated Assessment Unit. A new Urgent and Emergency Care Centre, opened in March 2023, has significantly improved emergency care facilities and capacity, providing almost 5,000 square metres of additional clinical space.
As well as the expected duties of a clinical support worker, we would expect that above all your main responsibility is to ensure you always show kindness to patients, your colleagues and visitors to the ward.
