Job summary

A healthcare provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a Clinical Psychologist for their Children's Community Nursing Service in Truro. Qualifications

• Experience of working with children, young people and families in a clinical or community setting.
• Evidence of continued professional development as recommended by BPS.
• Experience of child liaison psychology.

Responsibilities

• Provide a clinical psychology service to clients and their families within the Children's Community Nursing Service.
• Make evaluations and decisions about treatment options considering complex factors.
• Implement a range of highly specialist psychological interventions.

Skills

Developed skills in working with people in extreme emotional distress

Skills and experience in working with staff in sensitive situations

Ability to analyse and evaluate interventions

Skills in providing consultation to professional groups

Education

Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology

HCPC as a practitioner psychologist

Qualification in Family Therapy at Master's Level
