A leading organization is seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to work with children and young people facing mental health challenges. The position provides an opportunity to deliver psychological interventions, supervise staff, and work within a multidisciplinary team to enhance service quality.
Experience of delivering specialist assessments in Autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, complex needs, and/or challenging behaviours. Knowledge of developmental trauma and supporting families with children who are looked after or adopted.
We are keen to hear from qualified psychologists interested in working with children and young people with mental health problems, trauma, and adverse childhood experiences, including Looked After Children. You should be confident to work independently as a Clinical Psychologist under supervision of a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and within a multidisciplinary team including Psychiatry, OT, Nursing, and Teachers. You will also supervise, train, and oversee others to improve psychologically informed practices within the home.
Cambian Meeko House is a 12-bedded children's residential home for 12-18-year-olds with ongoing mental health needs and challenging behaviours that may hinder community functioning without support. The site includes Home Tree School to support educational needs.

The psychologist will be part of a wider MDT and will have access to a Consultant Psychologist at a sister site in Newmarket.
Postgraduate doctoral qualification in clinical or counselling psychology (or equivalent), HCPC registration, experience with child and adult safeguarding, clinical outcomes monitoring, risk assessment, and strong interpersonal and IT skills. Ability to manage complex caseloads, deliver specialist assessments in Autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and challenging behaviours. Knowledge of developmental trauma and supporting looked after/adopted children.
