A healthcare organization in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a part-time clinical role for delivering patient-centered consultations across multiple modalities. You'll be responsible for managing acute and non-urgent patient care, ensuring safe, effective prescribing following local guidelines. In this role, you will also support clinical audits and vaccination clinics. The ideal candidate should be registered with the GPhC, have a prescribing qualification and relevant acute care experience. Flexibility and exemplary communication skills are essential.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will deliver patient-centered consultations across various modalities.
This part-time role [25 hours per week] operates across two Bury Town Centre sites: Rock Healthcare and Knowsley Medical Centre.
The post holder will undertake a prescribing role, managing both acute and non-urgent patient care through face-to-face and telephone consultations.
You will be responsible for safe, effective, and cost-efficient prescribing in line with local and national guidelines, while supporting wider clinical and operational activities within the practice.

Knowsley Medical Centre isin an older establishment which we have adapted and is a 10 minute walk from theRock Healthcare site.
Undertake acute and non-urgent clinical consultations, both face-to-face and via telephone.
Carry out same-day acute triage using the clinical system during contracted hours [08:00 to 18:30].
Process Electronic Prescription Service [EPS] requests accurately and efficiently.
Review and action Docman tasks, including hospital letters and other clinical correspondence.
Review pathology and blood test results, taking appropriate clinical action.
Regularly review prescribing data to ensure clinical appropriateness and cost-effectiveness.
Prescribe in accordance withGMMMG and local prescribing guidelines.
Support clinical audits related to prescribing and medicines management.
Plan and deliver seasonal flu vaccination clinics.
