Job summary

A leading health service organization in Reading is seeking a band 6/7 clinical pharmacist to join its friendly pharmacy team. Job description
Overview

We are recruiting a band 6/7 clinical pharmacist to join our friendly and supportive pharmacy team. Both band 6 and band 7 applicants are welcomed. The post provides an ideal opportunity for a dynamic, self-motivated, and enthusiastic pharmacist looking to develop their clinical skills. This post is a full time, 12-month fixed term contract based at Prospect Park Hospital, in leafy Reading, 30 mins by train from London Paddington and Waterloo stations. We offer free onsite parking, top staff accommodation less than a 5-minute walk from your base.

Responsibilities
  • You will be expected to deliver a consistently high-quality clinical pharmacy service across community and mental health inpatient wards
  • Work alongside the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT)
  • Be an integral part of the pharmacy team providing clinical pharmacy support to designated ward(s) and participate in the pharmacy departmental rota’s

  1. Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacist
  2. Postgraduate clinical qualification and hospital experience to be considered for band 7
