Our busy endoscopy department is on an exciting improvement journey that puts our patients at the heart of everything we do.

An opportunity has arisen to assist the unit manager and the wider endoscopy nursing team with administrative tasks. This role would suit someone who enjoys finding solutions to problems, can work flexibly and cope with changing demands. You will be producing audits on inpatient and outpatient procedures and completing other work to ensure the unit meets Joint Advisory Group (JAG) standards. As well as supporting the day to day running of the unit with maintaining the roster, staffing levels, staff training, assisting with recruitment, ordering equipment and monitoring progress of repairs. Prepare meeting notes and assist in managing sickness absence in accordance with HR policies and guidance.

About the employer

Our vision is 'great healthcare from great people'. Everything we do is guided by our values: 'People feel cared for, safe, respected and confident that we are making a difference'. We have a new way of working at East Kent Hospitals, called 'We care'. It is about empowering frontline staff to lead improvements day-to-day. We are looking for compassionate people to be part of our improvement journey for the patients, families and carers we care for every day.
