Job description

Overview

The successful candidate will have experience in neurology – preferably in Multiple Sclerosis – and in case management. We are seeking a keen and enthusiastic person to provide high quality care to patients with MS across the community. You will possess advanced clinical assessment skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate would be passionate about caring for people with Multiple Sclerosis.

Responsibilities

You will cover the South Bank side of the Humber; base can be discussed at interview. The post requires flexible working across the local area to meet service need, including clinics and home visits. You will deliver clinics across multiple locations in the North and Northeast of Lincolnshire and attend patients’ homes for home visits. You will work in partnership in the care of individuals with MS between a variety of services and settings, using a UK driving licence and flexible availability within different localities.

Qualifications

• BSc Adult nursing or equivalent qualification
• NMS registered adult nurse
• Minimum 3 years post‑grad experience
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Desirable Development

• Has or willing to work towards development at MS Specialist level
• To have completed or willing to complete MS development module (MS Trust)
