Clinical Nurse Lead - 3k Incentive

We have exciting opportunities across the below inpatient wards based at the Carleton Clinic: Oakwood (Inpatient Older adult functional assessment and treatment), Ruskin (Inpatient Dementia assessment and treatment) and Hadrian (Acute male admission working age).

This vacancy includes an Attraction Incentive of £3000(*, **)

This will be paid on the following basis:

  • £1,500 on appointment to be included in the employee's first salary
  • £750 on the first anniversary of appointment
  • £750 on the second anniversary of appointment

*this will include a repayment clause if staff leave within 3 years (Appendix 1).

**Should this post be filled by a CNTW employee not currently working into inpatients services, the £3K Incentive payment may be applicable. This can be discussed in detail at interview.

Main duties of the job
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team, developing collaborative, needs based care plans, through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation within an Inpatient setting.
  • Act as an identified deputy in the absence of the Ward Manager.
  • Facilitate and coordinate clinical practice, ensuring high standards of evidence based care and treatment.
  • Be visible and accessible to patients, families and carers working together to ensure efficient, effective and caring services.
  • Lead on the implementation of all performance indicators, essential standards and quality outcomes.
  • Develop and where appropriate deliver training packages to enhance the knowledge and skills of the workforce and students.
  • Facilitate staff appraisals and Clinical Supervision and support personal development plans.
  • Provide compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignity.
