We’re looking for a highly skilled and confident Physiotherapist to take on a senior clinical and leadership position within our Urgent Care Response and Intermediate Care Teams. You’ll be responsible for day‑to‑day team operations, caseload oversight, staff support, and the delivery of expert rehabilitation for patients with complex needs.

This role offers a balance of advanced clinical work, service improvement, and professional leadership perfect for someone ready to step up or already working at senior level.

Main duties of the job

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll lead the physiotherapy function across both services, ensuring high‑quality, patient‑centred care. This includes:

  • Providing specialist assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation for complex cases
  • Overseeing physiotherapy staff, caseloads, and resources
  • Supporting and deputising for senior managers as required
  • Contributing to service development, clinical standards, and evidence‑based practice
  • Supporting and developing colleagues through supervision, mentoring, and training
  • Ensuring compliance with documentation, governance, audit and CQC requirements
