Job description
Overview

This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in a well‑established urogynaecology and pelvic floor unit within a large teaching hospital. The successful candidate will be involved in the outpatient and surgical management of women with pelvic floor disorders, working as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes consultants, nurse specialists, and physiotherapists.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in outpatient clinics, theatre lists, urodynamics sessions, MDTs and surgical planning meetings
  • Manage patients with complex pelvic floor disorders, recurrent prolapse, incontinence and urogenital pain
  • Support audit, data submission to national registries and contribute to audit, research and clinical governance activities
  • Involve in ongoing research and postgraduate teaching
Qualifications
  • Completed core training in obstetrics and gynaecology
  • Strong communication, surgical aptitude and a commitment to collaborative, compassionate care
  • Experience in urogynaecology or pelvic floor surgery is desirable but not mandatory
