A leading palliative care charity is seeking a Clinical Fellow with a special interest in palliative medicine. The role offers a chance to gain hospice experience, working predominantly within a medical team. Ideal candidates must have completed Foundation Years and show a commitment to a career in palliative medicine or related fields. Competitive salary depending on experience and an on-call commitment are required.
Saint Francis Hospice is seeking to recruit a doctor with a special interest in palliative medicine for a full time, fixed term Clinical Fellow post (pay dependent on experience), from 4/2/2026 (start can flex up to 4.3.26) for 6 months, to 4.8.2026.

The post holder will join a medical team of 2.4WTE Consultants, 1 x 0.6 WTE Registrar, 2.4 WTE Specialty Doctors and 1.4 WTE GP trainees and will work predominantly in the hospice ward, with opportunity for community visiting during the placement.
Development and career progression will be supported in line with the applicants level of training/personal development goals.
There is an on-call requirement, which involves weekend daytime ward rounds and admissions, with non-resident low intensity night cover. Postholders must be able to attend the hospice within 1 hour during non-resident on call periods.
Conditions of service and salary are as per national medical and dental terms and conditions of service, with the contract held by Saint Francis Hospice.
