Job description

This is an exciting time at Bupa at our new state of the art, Clinical Training Academy. Here we are seeking to deliver innovative learning & development, both physically and virtually through world class experiences and, to connect, grow and broaden the skills of our clinical teams across all business units (Dental Services, Care Services, Health Services, Insurance). Our goal is to exceed learner expectations and foster a culture of exceptional learning and development, through a learning offering that includes fully immersive technology, hi fidelity simulation labs & AI. You will be responsible for delivering and developing clinical education, training, and events for the CTA. Alongside CTA faculty and commercial and operational teams, this role will contribute to the delivery of world class high quality and engaging learning experiences that support our BGIUK clinical community, commercial growth, and Bupa strategic aims.

What you’ll do
  • Design and deliver high‑quality simulation training from concept through to delivery.
  • Work closely with clinical stakeholders to develop curriculum, events, and commercial offerings.
  • Deliver training flexibly across the UK, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Support innovative learning initiatives, including simulation labs, VR, and immersive digital platforms.
  • Promote psychological safety and best practice in all learning environments.
  • Ensure all training meets regulatory standards and aligns with Bupa’s values: Safety, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, Sustainability, and Excellence.
Qualifications
  • Current healthcare professional registration (GMC, NMC, GDC or HCPC) and/or a postgraduate qualification in clinical education.
  • Accredited Advanced Adult & Paediatric Life Support Instructor with proven experience delivering resuscitation training to RCUK standards.
  • Background in clinical education simulation using low, mid, and high‑fidelity manikin.
  • Extensive experience in curriculum design, classroom, virtual teaching, and simulation‑based education (including pre‑ and debriefing methods).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, collaboration ability, and a passion for clinical excellence.
