A public sector organization in the UK seeks a Clinical Education Assurance Lead to ensure that training is clinically robust and compliant with key standards. The role involves monitoring education programs, conducting audits, and engaging with stakeholders to enhance training delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and experience in clinical governance. This position supports continuous improvement and aligns with departmental clinical standards.
The Clinical Education Assurance Leads are responsible for assuring that supplier-delivered training is clinically robust, contractually compliant, and aligned with DWP’s Core Training and Guidance Materials (CTGM), national CPD best practice, and regulatory standards (e.g. GMC, NMC, HCPC). The role involves monitoring and evaluating clinical education programmes, conducting audits, embedding clinical governance frameworks, and supporting inspection readiness through accurate documentation and evidence of learning.
Acting as a strategic link between the Education and Clinical Governance teams, the postholder engages with internal and external stakeholders, including clinical educators, governance leads, and Health Education England, to observe training delivery, assess its impact on clinical decision-making, and identify trends in learning outcomes. They lead assurance reporting, contribute to policy development, and support continuous improvement across supplier organisations.
