Job description

The Clinical Deputy Manager role at Solent Grange Care Home in Wootton, Isle of Wight, is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin to lead and mentor a team in delivering excellent quality outcomes and person-centered care. The home is rated 'Good' by CQC and has a 9.9 rating on Carehome.co.uk, making it an excellent environment to enhance residents' wellbeing with independence and choice.

Main duties of the job

As the Clinical Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the 89-bedded, Residential, Nursing and Dementia Home. You will be an effective communicator, able to build strong and honest relationships with residents and their families, while also leading and mentoring your team to strive for the best possible care. The role involves a mix of supernumerary shifts and nursing shifts, with a requirement to work alternate weekends. A driving license and access to a car are also required.
