Job description

A leading finance company is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Fund Monitoring Surveyor to support its growing portfolio of development lending and investment activity. This is a key role within a well structured team, offering a blend of technical responsibility, commercial exposure and long term career progression.

Working directly for the funder, you will take ownership of monitoring a variety of development schemes across the South Coast to London and throughout the UK. Your responsibilities will include reviewing project proposals, assessing risk, managing drawdown processes, and providing clear, commercially grounded recommendations to internal stakeholders. The position offers significant visibility within the business and the chance to influence decisions at a strategic level.

What we’re looking for:

Solid fund monitoring experience, ideally with exposure to lender side or investment environments. A technical background in Building Surveying or Quantity Surveying, with the ability to interpret cost plans, programmes and contract information confidently. MRICS is preferred but not essential, Monitoring experience is the priority. Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver concise, accurate reporting to senior decision makers. A proactive, organised mindset with the confidence to work independently when needed.
