Job summary

A well-established logistics business in the London Heathrow area is seeking an experienced Client Services Manager to strengthen key client relationships and lead their customer liaison function. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, coaching a customer-focused team, and ensuring professional handling of client queries. Ideal candidates will have over 3 years of experience in logistics and customer service management. The role offers a salary range of £38,000 to £40,000 depending on experience, with a working schedule from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00.

Qualifications

Our client, a well-established logistics business operating within a fast-paced environment, is looking to appoint an experienced Services Manager to lead their customer liaison function and strengthen key client relationships.

This is a hands-on role focused on client satisfaction, service delivery, and commercial growth, managing a customer-facing team while working closely with senior leadership.

The Role
As Client Services Manager, You Will Be Responsible For
  • Managing and developing strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Leading, coaching, and developing the Customer Liaison team
  • Ensuring all client queries are handled professionally and within agreed timescales
  • Producing client-facing service and sales reports for senior management
  • Analysing customer feedback, identifying trends, and implementing action plans
  • Identifying opportunities to improve service levels and increase engagement
  • Creating and implementing client service strategies that support revenue growth
  • Overseeing the client liaison mailbox and ensuring bookings are secured and processed correctly
  • Collaborating with internal departments to deliver a seamless client experience
  • Delivering client service presentations and workshops where required
About You

You will ideally have:

  • At least 3 years experience in a logistics / warehousing environment
  • At least 3 years experience in a customer service management or supervisory role
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Experience producing client reports and working to KPIs
  • Good knowledge of vehicle capacity, load requirements, and courier operations
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
