The Role of Client Relationship Manager

The Client Relationship Manager the purpose of your role is 2-fold:

  • To nurture solid relationships with your 75 clients, helping them to use the system and gain maximum value from it. Therefore you may be running demos, doing training for onboarding, providing advice or simply problem solving....you will be their go-to "trusted advisor".
  • You will be targeted with Up-Selling and Cross-Selling opportunities to your client base, with the aim of growing their overall revenue spend each year. Therefore you will be aiming to expand your network of stakeholders beyond the customer’s Responsible Sourcing teams to build and demonstrate value to the wider business.

Your accounts will span FMCG, retail, ecommerce and similar sectors, and you will be building relationships with the Head of Supply Chain/Hd of Procurement or similar.

Requirements for this Client Relationship Manager position

  • 3+ years of relationship or account management sales experience
  • Outgoing and proactive
  • Consultative approach to selling with strong questioning ability
  • Proven experience of handling clients, and retaining business
  • Confident and articulate
  • Stable career history
  • A knowledge or logistics, supply chain, FMCG, or the retail sector is advantageous
