Clerk of Works / Quality Inspector – Edinburgh – Up to £300 per day | 18‑Month Contract

Excellent opportunity for a multi‑skilled Clerk of Works / Quality Inspector to oversee quality on live PBSA and apart‑hotel projects in Edinburgh.

The Role
  • Inspect and report on construction quality and compliance
  • Ensure works align with drawings, specs, and building regulations
  • Monitor all stages: RC frame, internal partitions, fire stopping, façades, and final finishes
  • Support delivery through Practical Completion and Defects period
  • Uphold high standards, driving quality and value across all phases
About You
  • Proven site inspection experience
  • Strong understanding of home warranty provider requirements
  • ICWCI or MCIOB accreditation desirable
  • Technically proficient with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Skilled in snagging and quality management software
  • Able to work collaboratively within a professional team
  • Creative problem solver and adaptable multitasker
