Overview

Position: Cleaning Supervisor (Multiple Sites) – Castlebrae Area

Salary: £29,173 - £33,287

Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks

Shift pattern: Monday - Thursday 06:00 - 09:00 and 15:30 - 20:00; Friday 06:00 - 08:00 and 16:00 - 20:00

Responsibilities
  • The supervisor will be responsible for cleaning teams across multiple sites.
  • Allocate routine/general tasks to the cleaning operatives, deal with matters arising, escalate concerns and report unresolved issues to the Locality Hub Team Leader.
  • Ensure that the general cleaning of the premises is carried out as required and in accordance with the Service Level Agreement, under the direction of the Locality Hub Team Leader, whilst ensuring all cleaning materials/equipment are handled and utilised in a safe and conscientious manner.
  • Carry out routine audits, site inspections, report machinery faults and maintain stock control/orders.
Requirements
  • A full clean driving licence is desirable but not essential.
  • This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. An Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required for individuals who have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to satisfactory outcomes of these checks.
