Overview

Staffline are Hiring!!!!!!! We have a new Permanent job vacancy. This is a Monday-Friday position, working day shifts. Staffline are keen to speak with experienced Hygiene, cleaning, caretaker operatives, who have worked within the food manufacturing industry. This is a varied physical role, in a fast-paced environment.

In your new role as a Hygiene Operative, you will operate and maintain effective cleaning schedules and support site hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • To operate and maintain effective cleaning schedules.
  • Assisting in monthly Internal GMP audits and helping to meet site accreditations.
  • Complete relevant hygiene records.
  • Carry out cleaning operations in accordance with hygiene schedules.
  • Report to Team Leader at start of shift for any special cleaning instructions.
  • Maintain hygiene equipment in a serviceable condition and report any damage or faults.
  • Complete relevant training when required.
  • Jet washing.
  • Cleaning and clearing debris from communal external and internal areas.
  • Moving and lifting.
  • Liaise with all departments across the site.
  • Dealing with and rectifying defects raised from site inspections.

  • Desirable: Food safety qualification
  • Desirable: Forklift truck Counterbalance licence
  • Experience of maintaining a clean operating environment, working in a fast moving Food Manufacturing environment – Essential
Essential

  • Clear understanding of ISO 9001/BRC, Health & Safety, Food Safety, Hygiene, HACCP, COSHH and pest control and familiarity with relevant food legislation.

Working Hours

Day shifts 7am-3.30pm, Monday-Friday.

Salary & Benefits
