A local government authority in Scotland is looking for a Cleaner to maintain hygiene standards across various premises. Candidates should have cleaning experience or a willingness to learn. This role requires in-person interviews and proof of the right to work in the UK. The position is regulated work with children, and applicants must not be barred from such work.
You will carry out various cleaning duties, including washing, emptying litter bins, sweeping, dusting and vacuum cleaning using powered equipment where appropriate, to ensure that the premises, which will include toilets, are in a clean and hygienic condition.
The ideal candidate should have cleaning experience although applicants with a willingness to learn will also be considered.

On completion of additional years of service by 1 January of each year, following the anniversary of the date of appointment, your term time salary will be adjusted to include a payment in lieu of the additional leave day accrued at the beginning of each leave year for the first 10 years of service.
