Job description
Overview

We are looking for a cleaner to join The Look Out Discovery Centre team on a part‑time basis, working 20 hours per week from 09:00 to 13:00, Monday to Friday.

The Look Out Discovery Centre is a popular hands‑on science and discovery exhibition set in 1,000 hectares of Crown Estate woodlands. The centre opens 7 days a week. Our aim is to make sure that visitors have a safe, relaxing and enjoyable experience, and the successful applicant will play a key role in achieving this.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the cleaning of the centre and surrounding area, maintaining a high‑quality image.
  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and promote quality service to the public.
  • Promote an excellent image of the centre and its staff at all times.
  • Work effectively as a member of a team.
  • Keep the centre, car park, play and picnic area clean and free from litter.
