A local government council in Scotland is seeking a committed Cleaner for Meldrum Primary School. The role entails 19 hours of work per week, spread over Monday to Friday with training provided. Applicants must be prepared to undergo background checks under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, ensuring a safe environment for children and vulnerable adults. To work within the Councils estate of buildings undertaking cleaning duties as directed by line manager in accordance with the practices and procedures of the service. Training will be provided.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
