Overview

Cleaner in Charge
Location: Worksop, S80 2SF
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6.00am to 8.00am and 3.30pm to 6.00pm (Term Time Only plus 3 weeks)
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Weekly Hours: 22.5 hours
Setting: Working within a school environment

A Cleaner in Charge is required to lead the cleaning team in Worksop. This role supports the commitment to providing a clean and safe learning environment. The successful candidate will oversee a team of 15 to 20 cleaners, ensuring all areas of the site are maintained to a high standard. The post includes term time cleaning with an additional three weeks of deep cleaning during school holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of cleaners
• Plan cover and organise annual leave
• Carry out stock checks and manage cleaning supplies
• Ensure all areas are cleaned to required standards
• Follow health and safety procedures
• Report any issues to the site team
• Hold key responsibilities including locking up the site
