Cleaner (Warehouse)

We are currently working alongside one of our clients based in Maydown/Lishally, Londonderry that prides itself on delivering excellent service to its customers. As business grows, they are looking for reliable and motivated Cleaner to support them 2 days per week. This role is an on-going temporary role.

Job Purpose

The Warehouse Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment. This role ensures all areas of the warehouse, including storage spaces, staff facilities, and communal areas, are kept to high hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out daily cleaning duties across the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste removal.
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to meet health and safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Clean staff areas such as restrooms, canteens, and offices within the warehouse.
  • Replenish cleaning supplies and inform management when stock is low.
  • Safely operate cleaning equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Dispose of rubbish and recycling in line with company policies.
  • Support with deep cleaning tasks when required.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
Key Skills & Attributes
  • Previous cleaning experience (preferably in a warehouse, industrial, or large commercial environment).
  • Knowledge of cleaning practices and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking with a proactive attitude.
  • Awareness of health and safety standards.

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour, Weekly paid.

Working Hours: Tuesday & Friday, or a Monday & Thursday. 2 hours per day.
