A well-known restaurant chain in Tunbridge Wells is seeking an early morning cleaner to join their team. The role involves cleaning various areas of the restaurant before it opens, with working hours from 7.15am to 11.00am on weekdays and 8am to 11am on weekends. Candidates should have previous cleaning experience and be over 18 due to insurance requirements. Pay is up to £18 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop front of house areas.
• Dust decorative artifacts and surfaces.
• Polish brass on the bar and doors.
• Clean customer toilets.
• Mop staff areas and offices.
• Wipe down restaurant windows.
• Perform other general cleaning duties.

Job description

We are currently looking for an early morning cleaner to join the team at Smith & Western. Working as part of the cleaning team the hours of work are approx. 7.15am - 11.00am Mon-Fri and Sat and Sun 8am-11am cleaning the restaurant before it opens. Shifts will include a mixture of days including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping/hoovering and mopping the front of house areas
• Dusting the decorative artifacts and surfaces in the front of house area
• Polishing the brass on the bar and doors
• Cleaning the customer toilets
• Sweeping and hoovering and mopping the staff area and offices
• Wiping over the inside of the restaurant windows
• Other general cleaning duties

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has some experience of professional cleaning either on a residential or commercial basis, and due to insurance restrictions and licences premises you will need to be over 18 and references‑able employment history.

Pay up to £18 per hour based on experience
