Job description

Pinnacle Group is seeking a dedicated School Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will be joining our Facilities Cleaning Team based at Ebsfleet Academy School in Swanscombe.

Your role will involve general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste management to ensure that the internal school facilities are cleaned to the required standard as directed by the Facilities Assistant and/or Superintendent. You will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence. If you take pride in your work and have a passion for creating clean, safe spaces, we encourage you to apply.

You will be working with a team of school cleaners for 20 hours per week. The shifts will be Mondays 1PM-7PM, Wednesdays 1PM-7PM and Fridays 11AM-7PM.

Key responsibilities:
  • Cleaning of communal internal and external areas such as hallways, staircases and window-sills, as well as courtyards, paths, car parks and bin stores etc.
  • Vacuuming, dusting, litter-picking,emptying bins
  • Sweeping and mopping hard surfaces.
  • Cleaning windows, walls and ledges within easy reach.
  • Advising Manager of materials / equipment to be ordered.
Key requirements:
  • The ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Good knowledge of the use of cleaning chemicals including COSHH.
  • Cleaning experience in a school environment would be preferred
  • Please Note: The appointment of this role will be subject to completion of a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service Check (DBS)
