A local educational institution in Camborne is seeking a part-time Cleaner to maintain a clean and safe environment across the campus. The role involves daily cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning catering areas. Salary: £23,492.04 FTA, (Pro rata amount for 15 hours £9,523.80, £12.21 per hour)
Terms & Conditions: Part Time (15 hours/52 weeks), Support Contract

Based at our Camborne campus you will work as part of the Site Services team, responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the College campus, which is used for both teaching and commercial activities. Under the direction of the Section Cleaning Supervisor and Campus Services Manager, you will carry out daily cleaning duties to a set programme using appropriate powered and manual equipment. This will include sweeping, damp mopping, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, cleaning catering areas (including deep cleans), replenishing consumables, and removing waste to designated collection points.
Applicants should have a reasonable standard of numeracy and literacy, be reliable, and demonstrate good timekeeping. You will be adaptable and flexible, with the ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently, and be willing to undertake a variety of duties as required. Previous experience working in a college or similar environment is desirable, as is experience of cleaning catering areas, though full training will be provided.
Monday to Thursday – 16:45 to 19:45 and Friday – 16:30 to 19:30.
