A healthcare organization in Blandford Forum seeks a Cleaner to maintain cleanliness in clinical and non-clinical areas. The role is part-time at 20 hours per week, including weekends. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a cleaner to join our committed and friendly team at Blandford Hospital.
The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving a high standard of cleanliness in clinical and non‑clinical areas throughout Blandford Hospital and for ensuring that a clean, safe, and comfortable environment is maintained for patients and visitors.
This post is 20 hours per week over 5 days to include weekends. On‑site training and uniform are provided.
Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
Applications from candidates that require current Skilled worker sponsorship to work in the UK are unfortunately ineligible to apply for this position.
Main duties will include all high and low level dusting, cleaning of toilets, hand basins, vacuuming/mopping of floors, cleaning of clinical & non‑clinical areas, removing and rehanging curtains, and ensuring the National Cleaning Standards are constantly maintained.
