Pay Rate: £13.68 - £16.12 per hour (Depending on experience)

As aClassroom Support Worker, you will play a key role in helping students with their learning, fostering a collaborative atmosphere, and promoting an inclusive environment. Your support will enable students to achieve their potential, build confidence, and develop essential skills.

Responsibilities that you will have:

  • Provide one-to-one or group support to students, assisting them in understanding and completing learning tasks.
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
  • Help prepare and organise resources to facilitate engaging lessons.
  • Support students in developing social, communication, and study skills.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and support students in following school routines.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Qualifications & Experience required:

  • Previous experience as a Classroom Support Worker or similar role in an educational setting.
  • A relevant qualification such as CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and support varied learning styles.
  • Organisational skills to manage resources and tasks efficiently.
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for education.
