Job summary

A national logistics provider is seeking a Class 2 Driver in Normanton. You will be responsible for regional deliveries, ensuring compliance and excellent customer service. Successful candidates will hold a valid Class 2 license and CPC, with strong knowledge of UK roads.   • No more than 6 penalty points on your license.

  • Drive Class 2 vehicles for local and regional deliveries.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain compliance with VOSA standards.
  • Use handheld scanners for tracking deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records.
  • Ensure excellent customer service during each drop-off.

Class 2 Driver


Location: Normanton, WF6 1RW


Shifts: Monday - Friday 08:00am starts, average 8-10-hour shift pattern


Pay Rate: £15.21 per hour


Manpower is hiring on behalf of our national client for HGV Drivers, working on a Full-time basis in Normanton, WF6 1RW.


Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from: Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.



Key Responsibilities


  • Drive Class 2 vehicles for local and regional deliveries

  • Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain compliance with VOSA standards

  • Use handheld scanners for tracking deliveries

  • Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation

  • Ensure excellent customer service during each drop-off or collection



What you need to succeed with our client


  • Valid Class 2 license

  • Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card

  • No more than 6 penalty points on your license and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements

  • Multidrop delivery experience

  • Excellent knowledge of the UK road network

  • A can-do attitude
