Job description

Overview

Class 1 HGV C+E Night Trunk Driver required to start between 21:00 and 00:00, Monday to Friday. Average shift is 10 hours. All work involves driving a modern fleet of vehicles pulling box trailers, on a trailer swap basis. Average drops are 2 per shift on a semi-distance basis. You must hold a valid C+E licence for a minimum of 12 months with no more than 6 points for insurance purposes, and you must hold both a valid CPC card and a digital tachograph card.

Responsibilities

Operate as part of a night trunk driving role in a modern fleet, performing trailer swaps and completing required driving duties during scheduled shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 HGV (C+E) licence with at least 12 months of experience
• No more than 6 points on licence
• Valid CPC card
• Digital tachograph card
• Ability to work night shifts (21:00–00:00 start times) and Monday to Friday schedule

Employment Type & Schedule

Full time temporary but ongoing, five nights a week, with regular work into January 2026.
