• Carry out vehicle checks and follow health & safety guidelines.
• Deliver palletised freight to UK businesses.

Class 1 Driver Wanted - Join a Leading Logistics Team!

Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for a role that offers variety, independence, and great support? Driver Hire Winchester has partnered with a top logistics company to recruit a reliable and motivated driver to hit the road with us. If long-distance driving and exploring new places sounds ideal, this could be your perfect next step!

The Role

• Working Days: Monday-Friday Ad Hoc (no weekends!)
• Start Time: Between 6:00am-7:00am
• Shift Length: Around 10-12 hours
• Work Type: Long-distance driving delivering palletised freight – Up to 4 drops per day with occasional collections
• Deliveries: General haulage to UK businesses (forklift unloading)
• Nights Out: Overnight stays in your cab
• Responsibilities: Completing accurate paperwork, carrying out vehicle checks, and following health & safety guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience
• Confident with load strapping
• Comfortable with nights out
• Solid understanding of H&S, driving regulations & drivers' hours
• Clear and confident communication skills
