Overview

Class 1 Driver – Rugby

Pure Staff are currently recruiting Class 1 Drivers for an ongoing role based in Rugby. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers seeking long-term, consistent work for a reputable and well-known company.

Shift Details

• Start times: From 07:00–09:00
• Shift length: 10–12 hours
• Work pattern: Day shifts
• Role type: Temporary/ongoing

The Role

• 1–3 drops or trailer swaps per shift
• Tyre delivery – depot-to-depot work
• Curtain side or container work
• Occasional off-loading required; equipment provided to assist with this

Pay Rate

• £18.00 per hour
• Base pay: £17 per hour with £2.05 per hour accrued as holiday pay, banked and paid when taking annual leave
• Reason for holiday pay: to ensure fair pay and encourage regular rest for safety and wellbeing

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 Licence
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 points on licence
• No major endorsements
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude
• Flexible and willing to off-load when required
