Class 1 Driver Wanted – £17 – £19.05 per hour – Start ASAP – ONGOING WORK

Join Pure Staff and work with our reliable and reputable long-term client in Cannock. We’ve been the trusted UK recruitment partner for this client since 2018. There is an opportunity for full time employment for the correct candidate. While we can’t guarantee permanent employment for everyone, our temporary drivers are provided ongoing agency work with no fixed end date.

Your role as an HGV Class 1 Driver

• Ensure accuracy in loading and delivery, keeping customers satisfied.
• Develop your skills with hands‑on experience and ongoing support from the team.

Requirements for Class 1 driver

• UK category C+E license for minimum 12 months
• Minimum of 6 months UK driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Good level of communication
• Reasonable knowledge of UK roads
• £17 per hour (Monday to Friday Days) + £2.05PH in holiday accrual
• Free parking
• Ongoing work with no set end date. ( Can lead to temp – perm )

Your hourly pay rate is £17.00, and you will accrue £2.05 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers.
