Claims Handler

We are seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join our Casualty Claims team. As a Claims Handler, you will provide top-notch, customer-focused service to our Zurich Municipal customers.

Working hours: This role is available on a part-time, job-share, or full-time basis.

Location: Newcastle

  • Handle and resolve customer enquiries to deliver exceptional claims service.
  • Review, resolve, and finalize claims within your authority limits.

Who are we looking for?

  • Insurance Claims Experience is preferable, but customer service experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to review, resolve, and finalize claims proactively within authority limits.
  • Team collaboration experience, managing varying workloads and pressures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Mentor and motivator with the ability to coach and develop others.
