A leading recruitment agency is looking for a Principal Civil Engineer to join a team on an LNG FEED project in Leatherhead. The ideal candidate will have significant Aramco experience and a strong background in civil engineering, typically over 12 years. This role requires coordination across disciplines and project teams globally. The position is based full-time onsite with a competitive rate of £48 per hour PAYE.

Job description

Civil Engineer to work within our client’s team on an LNG FEED project with an anticipated duration of 12 months.

This role is based 5 days a week in our Leatherhead office and is inside IR35

Target rate £48 ph PAYE excluding holidays / Umbrella rate is £64.00

Candidates must have previous Aramco experience.

Typically the required competency and skills would have been built up over a 12 year period working for a consultant engineering company or end user company.

As a principal civil engineer, you will support the lead in the preparation of engineering deliverables within the scope assigned:

  • Design basis, material and construction specifications
  • Ability to independently perform engineering studies and produce recommendation reports
  • Familiarity with American and Euro norm design codes and standards
  • Coordinate, direct and review analysis/calculations, typically
  • Structures - buildings, equipment support structures, pipe racks, culverts/bridges, earth retaining structures
  • Foundations – shallow, piled as appropriate
  • Civil infrastructure - site preparation earthworks, roads
  • Preparing material take-offs

The work will involve liaising with other disciplines, client and 3rd party contractors and coordinating and working with project team members across global offices to deliver the tasks within allotted timelines and budgets.
