Job summary

A leading water sector organization in Peterborough is seeking a civil designer experienced in water treatment projects. The role involves designing new facilities and managing upgrades to existing systems. The successful candidate will focus on sustainable outcomes and may begin ASAP. This is a 12-month rolling contract with an approximate rate of £530 per day, requiring 2 days onsite in Peterborough.

Job description

Project involvement may entail:

• Design of new water treatment works and upgrades to existing
• Water Industry National Environment Programme (WINEP) schemes such as River (flow) Support
• Design of new and refurbishment of existing service reservoirs and refurbishment of existing water towers
• Design and detailing of foundations, tanks / bunds, roads, process pipework, surface water drainage systems, etc.
• Support in delivery of emergency schemes to ensure continuity of potable supplies
