Qualifications

• Experience of working autonomously.
• Experience of infection prevention and control measures.
• Broad knowledge of general practice and experience of working at a Practice.
• Good clinical system IT knowledge.
• Understanding of safeguarding adults and children.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment room duties including wound care and dressings.
• Conduct immunisations and vaccinations.
• Monitor chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes, asthma, COPD).
• Educate patients and promote health.
• Maintain accurate documentation.

Education

Registered Nurse with the NMC

At least 1 years experience working in a GP Practice environment

Qualified in Phlebotomy

Qualified in ECG

Qualified in chronic disease management diploma (Asthma, COPD, Diabetes)

Qualified in woman's health (cervical cytology, contraception etc.)
