Qualifications

Children’s Residential Team Leader

Location: Longsight, Manchester

Pay: £13.71 per hour plus £30 per sleep in

What You’ll Do
  • Support young people with their daily routines; getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities.
  • Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.
  • Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
  • Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects.
  • Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.

In our home we provide consistent routines to help children feel secure, staff are very supportive where each individual is respected, valued and encouraged to grow. We have worked hard to make the home feel welcoming, bedrooms are personalized and private offering young people space to express their identity and feel sense of ownership. Communal areas are warm, relaxed and designed to encourage conversation- just like any family home. Staff are trained to build trusting relationships and provide consistent care. We promote independence. Young people are actively involved in shaping the environment and making decisions about their day to day life. Their voices matter here. Overall our home is built on respect, warmth and opportunity a place where young people can grow and prepare for their futures.
