Qualifications

  • Prior administrative experience within an office setting is required.
  • Experience in a health/social care setting is preferred.
  • Experience working with children with disabilities or developmental difficulties is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and open post.
  • Type emails and other correspondence as required.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the Centre, answering calls and liaising professionally.
  • Maintain and develop databases and systems for efficient Centre operation.
  • Perform general clerical duties such as filing.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong keyboard and IT skills
Ability to work independently
Calm and polite telephone manner
Ability to work effectively in a team

Education

Good general education to GCSE level or comparable
