Child & Family Social Worker - Tewkesbury

£42ph Temporary

Caritas Recruitment are seeking experienced Child & Family Social Workers to join Gloucestershire County Council in Tewkesbury. This temporary role offers the opportunity to manage a mixed caseload of CIN, CP, and CIC, including some court work, providing timely, evidence-based interventions to support children and families.

Key responsibilities

• Hold and manage a caseload of around 18 children, ensuring safeguarding and effective support.
• Undertake statutory visits, assessments, care planning, and court reports as required.
• Deliver interventions with consideration of timeliness, impact, and positive outcomes.
• Work in a flexible environment with 3 office days per week, supported by a laptop and smartphone.
• Collaborate with colleagues and multi-agency partners to ensure coordinated support for families.

Pay: £42 per hour
