Job summary

A leading mental health service provider in the UK is looking for a Clinical Psychologist for a part-time role. This position focuses on delivering mental health services to children and young people, offering a balance of core and specialist psychology work. Successful candidates will manage complex cases, act as care coordinators, and collaborate with a diverse multidisciplinary team. The role requires HCPC registration and offers a fixed-term contract with a competitive salary ranging from £55,690 to £62,682 per annum.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is mandatory for this role.
• Post qualification experience of at least 2 years in psychological assessment and treatment.
• Experience working with children and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality service for mental health of children and young people.
• Responsible for managing a caseload and developing care plans.
• Act as care coordinator for complex cases.

Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work as a fully participating member of a multi-disciplinary team

Experience with psychological assessment and treatment

Knowledge of Child Protection Procedures

Education

Relevant training and professional registration

Post-doctoral training in specialized areas including CBT
