Overview

East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT) is the first NHS Marmot Trust, leading the fight against health inequalities across London and Bedfordshire. We provide community and inpatient services to diverse populations and aim to deliver high quality, equitable care.

Role

The Chief Quality Officer (CQO) will be the executive leader responsible for driving continuous improvement, data‑driven decision making and embedding a robust quality management system across the Trust.

Responsibilities
  • Co‑lead strategy and planning for quality improvement across services
  • Oversight of quality, safety and performance, ensuring outcomes meet national standards
  • Lead data, analytics and intelligence initiatives, turning insight into action
  • Embed a quality management system (QMS) that reduces unwarranted variation and systematically designs quality into everything we do
