Job description
Chief of Staff at Quant Strategy Hedge Fund

A quant strategy, boutique hedge fund, with a sizeable and rapidly expanding AUM, are looking to make their first ‘Chief of Staff’ hire.

Working as a ‘right-hand-person’ to the COO, the Chief of Staff will have an incredibly broad and fluid remit. Coverage will include research responsibilities, project work, producing content for presentations, being the bridge between the CIO on quant / risk / trading teams (prioritising deliverables and managing their execution), managing / negotiating contracts, analysing / advising on / responding to market changes etc. As the firm go through a key period of change, the new hire will work with the COO and managing partners on business strategy, both short-term responses and long-term planning – project work will always be prevalent in the role.

Candidates should ideally have 5-10yrs experience at a leading consulting firm, some exposure to or a passion for financial markets and a top tier academic profile. We could potentially consider candidates currently working in a hedge fund role that has a broad remit supporting the most senior levels of management.

The role will pay the hire a circa £200k TC year one, with a realistic goal to double his/her TC within a couple of years.
