Our Care Assistants have the chance to make a real difference to people’s lives, both at home and supporting them in the community. This is a role that varies from day-to-day to helping the more vulnerable in our society, offering a sense of satisfaction that is difficult to match.

Responsibilities
  • Meeting the support requirements of customers in a way that respects the individual and promotes independence.
  • Travel to the customer’s home and assist with daily tasks as agreed in the Care Plan.
  • Provide tasks similar to those normally given by a family member, such as domestic support, bathing and dressing as required.
  • Shopping and meal preparation
  • Prompting with medication
  • Support with daily routines
  • Respite services
  • Socialising and leisure activities
  • Helping customers access the community

The role involves providing domestic support or personal care as appropriate for the individual.

You will travel to customers’ homes and assist with daily tasks set out in their Care Plan.

Required Education, Skills And Qualifications

We are happy to speak to anybody looking to either get into care for the first time or with years of experience. Full training is provided; there are opportunities for further training with specialists.
